Why now, why here

India is building AI infrastructure faster than it is measuring it

Data centre capacity has grown severalfold in five years, AI workloads are pushing rack densities well past historical norms, and a large share of that capacity sits in water-stressed states. Almost none of the public conversation about what any of it consumes is happening in India.

This is the first Indian gathering built entirely around that question — and around the other half of it, which is what AI is genuinely good for when pointed at energy, water, materials and the built environment.

A single track is a commitment, not a constraint. Your session is the session.

The programme

Day one asks what it costs. Day two asks what it is worth.

Day 1 — The Cost of Intelligence

Energy, carbon and water accounting for AI systems. Measurement standards and the SCI specification. Efficient models: right-sizing, distillation, quantisation, inference economics. Data centres, cooling and the grid. Water in a stressed basin. Disclosure, regulation, and what boards will be asked next year.

Day 2 — Intelligence for the Planet

Energy systems and grid intelligence. Agriculture, food and water. Mobility and supply chains. The built environment and urban systems. Industrial decarbonisation. Nature, resilience and early warning. Climate finance, skills and public policy. Closing with the GreenMind finalists.

Speakers are drawn internationally; the audience is Indian and regional. Full programme and speaker announcements from October 2026.

Who is in the room

The people who set the standards, run the infrastructure and write the rules

SegmentWhy they come
Engineering and platform leadersCTOs and heads of ML being asked what their models cost to run, with no defensible answer yet.
Sustainability and ESGHeads of sustainability and disclosure for whom AI has just become a material line in the report.
Data centre and infrastructureOperators, colocation providers and utilities dealing with load growth, cooling and water in real time.
Policy and public sectorRegulators, standards bodies and public institutions writing the rules that will apply to all of the above.
Research and academiaFaculty and researchers, including the Sir MV School of Architecture cohort working on the built environment.
Founders and investorsClimate-tech founders and funds looking for what is real — including the GreenMind finalist cohort.

Partnership

Put your name on the standard, not just the stage

Four tiers against a ₹50 lakh programme budget. In-kind partnerships — venue, AV, hospitality, travel, streaming — are welcome and additional to the cash tiers.

Before the Summit

Five thousand teams spend November proving their numbers

The GreenMind Sustainable AI Hackathon runs 1–15 November 2026, on the same measurement discipline the Summit is built around. Twenty-five finalist teams present in Bengaluru in November. Ten to fifteen of them, selected on business merit, pitch to investors and incubators on the main stage. They arrive having spent three months proving their numbers — a rather different proposition from the usual pitch session.

Register your interest

Delegate registration opens in January 2027. Leave your details and we will tell you when the programme, the speakers and the pricing are confirmed.
